D.C. has officially opened a new housing development that is part of an initiative to increase the amount of affordable housing in the District. Fortitude at Delta Towers, contains 179 affordable housing units and includes 18 permanent supportive housing units for older residents. “This beautiful building, which will provide affordable, permanent housing for our seniors, is important to ensuring more Washingtonians can continue to call our city home”, Washington, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser had to say about the new building.
