Yesterday, KGD joined True Ground Housing Partners in celebrating the official grand opening for Wholey Legacy Homes (formerly known as Marbella Apartments) in Rosslyn, Virginia.

Wholey Legacy Homes is a new 12-story, 234 affordable homes community named in honor of two of the organization’s founders, Joe and Midge Wholey. Since 2011, True Ground has owned the 12, three-story buildings that comprise 134 affordable homes at Marbella Apartments. In September 2023, True Ground began redevelopment of 31 existing units into 234 apartments. Designed by KGD, other main project partners include Donohoe as general contractor, KCM as construction manager, and Walter Phillips as civil engineer.
