Have you seen any of our KGD colleagues lately? You might have if you were in Rochester, New York or San Diego, California last week (see below for a link to our Instagram carousel of their travels).

To start, KGD Associate Iffat Afsana attended the A4LE-Association for Learning Environments' Northeast Regional Conference in Rochester held June 9-11. She joined KGD Architecture’s fellow Signal Hill Equity Partners company colleagues from CSArch who were also in attendance. In addition to breakout sessions, they participated in tours of recently completed schools along with comparing notes and perspectives over lunch and key breaks in between.

Then, on June 10 through June 13, KGD Principals & Co-Presidents Chris Gordon and Manoj Dalaya attended AIA26 in San Diego. In addition, the AIA Northern Virginia Chapter did a great spot of KGD Associate Ava Helm, who also attended to earn CEUs having become a registered architect in the past year. She joined other chapter members in celebrating Carrie Parker, AIA having earned the chapter’s 2026 AIA Young Architect Award.
