This week, Team KGD was out and about at several key and notable events in Richmond and Loudoun County, Virginia.
Starting with AIA Virginia’s ArchEx 2026, KGD Co-President Manoj Dalaya joined SHEP Chief Executive Officer Ahmed Abdel-Sahib and Aeterna Group President and Managing Partner Adam Krason for an hour-long session entitled, “At the Ownership Threshold: Building an Enduring Firm.” The next day, Manoj was joined by Arup Principal Gregory Giammalvo and Associate Linda Toth along with KGD Associate Ava Helm for an hour-long session entitled, “Secure Facilities, Human Outcomes: Designing Serenity Inside.” Another highlight for ArchEx was celebrating KGD Architectural Designer Hanna Keplinger and her peers who presented the AIA Virginia Emerging Leaders in Architecture Class of 2026 program.
In between these ArchEx events, both Manoj and Ava attended CoreNet Global Mid-Atlantic Chapter’s exclusive event to tour CoStar’s Foundry Park Campus that included a panel program. Lastly, KGD Senior Associate Kevin Pennington and Associate Patrick McGowan attended Bisnow’s Loudoun County State of the Market event.
Where might you find any of these colleagues and others next? Stay tuned, because the geographical footprint of our clients, their projects, and the whole of the Aeterna Group – of which KGD is one of its legacy brands – spans throughout the Mid-Atlantic and up through the Northeast region over into the Midwest, The Rockies, and further westward.
