True Ground Housing Partners is dedicated to building, owning and operating affordable multifamily housing. On October 15, the KGD team attended True Ground's annual Celebrate Home! benefit hosted at Capital One Hall. Over the years, KGD has been working with True Ground to develop a number of affordable housing projects, including the upcoming Exchange at Spring Hill Station and Sweeney. It is also worth noting that honored at the benefit was the Amazon Housing Fund, which invested $56 million in The Exchange, a 516-unit development that will be completed in 2027. Similarly, at The Sweeney, Amazon donated land and 432 homes. At KGD, we believe in finding effective design solutions for financing options, and the Amazon Housing Fund provides a way of maintaining affordable housing options in the Washington, DC and Arlington, Virginia areas. KGD was honored to be a part of the festivities, and happy to be among so many peers and industry friends who believe in True Ground's mission.
