Essential Duties + Responsibilities
- Supports the development, administration, and coordination of construction contract documents on a varying range of projects.
- Reviews construction documents, including Division 01, General and Supplemental Conditions, agreements, submittals, substitutions, payment applications, change proposals, and RFIs.
- Supports site observations and inspections to ensure quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC).
- Contributes to project bidding, procurement, and negotiation processes.
- Liaises with project management, other architects, and consultants.
- Coordinates with the Project Director and Project Manager on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies.
Qualifications
- Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
- Has 3-5 years of professional experience.
- Demonstrates familiarity with construction documents and project delivery processes with exposure to CSI practices or CCCA principles considered a bonus.
- Demonstrates strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates a collaborative, proactive attitude that is essential for this key project role.
- Technology: Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) a plus.
- Licensure preferred or in active pursuit, LEED accreditation a plus.
