Essential Duties + Responsibilities
- Works under the guidance of more experienced professionals.
- Assists in various tasks such as drafting, space planning, sourcing materials, and client coordination.
- Performs site survey and documentation.
- Maintains resource materials.
- Is learning computer-aided drawing, presentation tools, and advanced office software.
Qualifications
- Holds a bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture, which is preferred.
- This is an entry-level position for designers.
- Displays the desire to advance skills, contribute positively to projects and take ownership of tasks and assignments.
- Displays an ability to articulate well in both verbal and written communication; comfortable presenting information to clients and other parties; is able to participate in client and team meetings.
- Technology: Must be familiar in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
