Essential Duties + Responsibilities
- Coordinates, writes, edits and produces responses to solicitations, SOQs, RFQs, RFPs; this includes research, technical content, graphics, page layout and design.
- Coordinates and cultivates collaborative relationships with key members and fellow marketing peers of our firm’s current and prospective subconsultants, as well as teaming partners.
- Has the ability to work with multiple firm leads to assemble materials and manage the entire proposal process from start to delivery, including adhering to all internal deadlines for drafts/reviews.
- Reads and analyzes solicitations, SOQs, RFQs, and RFPs plus effectively edits proposal content for spelling, grammar, consistency, and compliance with requirements.
- Prepares presentations, leave behinds and handouts for interviews with prospective clients.
- Assists with tracking and inputting opportunities into the CRM system for weekly meetings plus tracking the firm's win/loss record for all proposals submitted.
- Schedules and participates in proposal strategy meetings.
- Attends pre-proposal meetings and debriefings as needed.
- Assists with other business development/marketing functions, as necessary.
- Updates and maintains the marketing department's documentation and databases (i.e. resumes, project portfolios, photos, references, licenses and certifications, project history, etc.).
Qualifications
- Holds an associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, English, communications or journalism and/or equivalent experience.
- Has a minimum of 3-5 years of experience providing proposal and presentation coordination and marketing support in the A/E/C industry preferred.
- Has experience in general business/professional/office, knowledge of A/E/C industry and RFQ process.
- Possesses excellent project and time management skills with keen attention to detail and highly organized.
- Demonstrates excellent writing and proof-reading skills.
- Has the ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines and assignments.
- Technology: Has proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign) required. Familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint preferred.
