Glass waves that roll over the façade of 2 Patterson provide an aesthetically pleasing departure from the straight-line architecture of NoMa. The 1-acre site book-ends the retail and service options to the south and opens a gateway to the low-rise neighborhoods to the north.

About the Project

At ground level, the mixed-use Monument Realty development offers 4500 SF of community space, a public park, and 18,000 SF of retail that features local businesses and a cove co-working space. The 13-story building will include 577 apartments that range in size from studios to four-bedroom units. 226-286 apartments are designated as affordable units, providing much needed homeownership opportunities for both market-rate and low-income families. The in-town location puts the Metropolitan Branch Trail, Metro access, Capitol Hill, the National Mall, and the museums of our nation’s capital within easy reach of residents.
